Now in his 50s, celebrating international make-up artist and writer, the beauty of Brown female faces that have laugh lines rhce 6 books. Encourages them to "age" women without unnecessary cosmetic surgery in a healthy life, the care of their skin and with a few tricks with makeup, hair and clothing. The first proposes the "Words of Wisdom" old celebrities like Susan Sarandon, Vera Wang, and Lorraine Bracco most of which prove to be quite thin. But Bobbi's suggestions for how to enter the special problems of older women (such as sunspots, baggy eyes and dull skin), that the book is to minimize an anchor. The following chapters cover many of the clothes and hair, and in the menopause and hormone replacement therapy, plus diet and exercise. A final chapter is celebrating "Women who get it" might have been fun, but women who have distinguished successful, not famous enough to warrant much interest (for example, the president of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, vice president of Burberry and CEO of Brooks Food Group). One of the most endearing of the book are the photos. How beautifully aging faces, makeup that works well enough to see healthy food that looks good enough to eat or eat to make the photos of the book coffee-table worthy. (Apr.)
